Bruce Burk also has passed away
Bruce Burk, of Grass Valley, CA passed away the same week that Ed Walicki did.
Bruce was one of the pioneers of bird carvings. Tremendous fellow.

Re: Bruce Burk also has passed away
That is very sad news, I have some of his books and to add this on top of Edwards death makes it even sadder. They where both truly great carvers and I cannot begin to thank them for the work they did and the improvements they brought about in both bird and fish carving techniques. They will both be rememberd forever.
I know and can see clearly exactly what, I want to carve.
But on the long journey from my head through my arms,
So much is lost before it gets to my fingers and tools.
Niin paljon puita, niin vähän aikaa
