| | Re: Woodcarver from NY Mike you have a shop there? My wife was born in raised in Rome right down the street from where you filmed the DVD. Miss the good old days back when everyone either worked at Reverware or Griffiss Air Force Base. Many good times at Lake Delta.

| | Re: Woodcarver from NY OP,
In February I taught a woodspirit class for the Lancaster County club at a decorative painting studio in Bird-in-Hand. George and Anne Reinfield set it up. There was talk of having me back in Oct. so I guess I dun good . Keep ya posted.
It's a bit far for a day trip for you, but I'll be at the North East Woodcarver's Roundup at Cherry Ridge (Honesdale, PA) in late July. All the sites, cabins and such are spoken for, but you could stay nearby and be a "walk in". The good news with the NEWR is that all the instructors are volunteers, and there are plenty of them. Usually all you have to do is pay registration (I think) and for blanks/supplies (in my case, cottonwood bark for the woodspirit classes Monday or Tuesday, or a cut out for any figure I do Wednesday). They have 3 CCA members teaching this year. Lucky I'm a legacy instructor... been with the NEWR since the beginning, so they let me hang around despite the higher caliber of teachers these days .

| | Re: Woodcarver from NY BBJones,
No shop yet. I sell off my web site, out of ArtWorks (co-op in Old Forge), and local craft shows (together with Yvonne and her decorative paintings).
Keep on Carvin'
