| | Woodcarver from NY ...waaaay upstate NY. I carve animals, caricatures(especially Santas), woodspirits, Native American style flutes, and some relief carvings. I also teach woodcarving in NY, Pa, and the great frozen North (that would be Canada).
Keep on Carvin'

| | Re: Woodcarver from NY Hi Mike and a big welcome to the forum, you definitely ad some class to our group. I'm a 77 year old gent living fairly close to you (I think) I'm in Ontario about 35 miles from Buffalo. I'm quite new to carving and am struggling a bit but trying to work thru it. I checked your web site and was surprised to see the Adirondack Hermit, I've had him on my desktop for some time now hoping to be able to carve him, I think he's pretty slick. Any way, enough about me, once again welcome aboard. You probably know Bill (coffee man), from your area, he's been over to see me a couple of times.

Cliff, been over your way a couple times. Long ago (BC-Before Carving) we tent camped with the girls at Rock Point Provincial Park... nice area. Is that Bill Russel... Bad-Back-Bill?
Donna, I promise to post pictures, but in the meantime you're welcome to browse my web-site... http://www.borg.com/~bloomqum
