Default Whittle Works

Hi all. My name is Terry Vance and I am from Warner Robins Georgia.

I started carving decoy style ducks in 1982. I have tried songbirds, animals, Santa’s and caricatures. I like caricatures best of all.

I attended a seminar in Alabama this summer and learned to make marionettes in the Czech style. The instructors were from Prague. It was fun and very informative.

I am also in the same wood carving club as Arnold Smith.

Welcome, Terry,
We're glad you found our message board. Sounds like you've got a well-rounded exposure to carving already. Hope to see you here often.

HI Terry,
I live in north Georgia and read all about the marionette workshop wishing that I could attend. I sure would enjoy seeing pictures of your results from that class.
Welcome to the board.
