Default From WARM and FRIENDLY FLORIDA

Stopping in to say hello and to introduce myself to other woodcarvers.

I live in DeLand, FL, the friendliest little town I know of.

I carve anything and everything.
The wood wants to talk and I let my creativity give it a voice.

From A-pple wood to Z-ebra wood, I use it all in my carvings.

Wanting to see more creativity that is out there among fellow carvers. (you ladies too)

I have been carving a long time and it is a wonderful hobby.

I am a retired plumbing contractor, a musician/singer/songwriter/guitarist.

That's it for now.
I'll be perusing the site, admiring the work of others.

-Bill

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
This sure is a friendly place.

I am an elephant collector and my gal suggested I carve elephants instead of purchasing them.
So began the parade of the elephants.

I am also carving a full Chess Set.
The pieces are over-sized ... and when it's complete I will also do an inlay board for it.
Hope to finish it sometime in the next few months.

I am finger-skipping around the site and hope to bump into you fine folks.

Regards,
-Bill
