Default Trying to find carvers in Florida

Hello all, I have registered to this site looking for carvers in the state of Florida, Sarasota specifically.
My stepfather is 81 years old and has recently had to move into an assisted living facility.
He thoroughly enjoys carving, stills feels as though he is a beginner.
He had a fellow carver who would supply him with cutouts and patterns but he has not been able to reach him.
He needs cutouts and I have looked at the internet looking for some, however I thought there just might be another fellow carver in his area that might want to get together.
He has carverd dolphins, pelicans, boots, and some caracature faces.
I hope to hear from someone in Sarasota who might want a new friend, who likes to chat and carve. He also plays a pretty mean cribbage game.
Thanks to all

roughouts and "cutouts" can be ordered from moore roughouts in ND. also the woodcraft shop in bettendorf iowa-- both reputible places to deal with-- there are many carvers around that sell thier own roughouts-- im sure that there are somein the SE-- but i dont know about them-- im in missouri

keep him carving as long as possible-- it will help to keep him going--
