Default tjc saying HI...

Hi all...

Just thought I`d say hello from Caithness, Scotland.

It`s a long story, but I`ve been carving kinda off and on for the past 21 years... (man...is it THAT long Lol) mainly chip carved furniture as this is what my dads little carving business focused on but I`ve also done relief carving and a SMALL amount of sculptural carving.

I was trained by my father, who was trained by his father who worked for a local woodcarving/furniture making business in the small village of Castletown in Caithness, where I have lived and worked all my life...

Anyhow, the site looks cool and the people too so I`ll be back...

for now.

Welcome to our group. We'd really like to see examples of your work and I'm guessing you have some good carving stories to tell as part of a multi-generation carving family. Good to hear from you. Mike
