On one boring summer day, I piced up a kinife and peace of wood and was wery suprised that it actually looked like a bear what came out of it. So I descovered this hobby by accident.

My biggest problem is that noone sells woodcarving chisels in estonia. Actually there is one shop that says they can get me two cherries chisels from Germany, but the price is grazy.

I managed to get 3 old pfail chisels form a friend who lives in Spocane. But thats all I have to work with.

I wonder what size and shape chisels do other carvers use? I have nr 3 gouge, nr. 8 gouge and one V-tool. All are 18 mm wide.

Margus
