Hello Sue,
Your background sounds same as mine except I wasn't a professional. I LOVE wood carving. Not only because of the carving challenge either. I enjoy the tooling process also.

Hi Sue, and welcome I've done some sculpting too and I think you'll find it will be of help to you when you start carving. Or have to begun already? If so what have you been working on?
