Default showing my ignorance

Good morning,
I really hate to show my ingnorance especially since I used my real name... but when I click on a post I often get in the middle of the thread and no matter what I attempt I am not able to get to # 1 post. This does not happen all the time but most of the time. Any advice will be appreciated
Robert

Robert when you enter a thread you can show it in Linear Mode (under display modes at the top right of the screen) this might help you navigate some...

...also when you get a chance, look at "User CP" which is your indiviual settings where you can set the options you'd like...

...hope this helps...
