Default Sawdust maker !!

Kia Ora from NZ.
Joined yesterday and thought I might introduce myself.
I have been carving since 1970,mostly ethnic(Maori) stuff,
but I prefer carving flowers & foliage,I havent had a chance
yet to see what,s what on the site,I,m hoping there may
be a member or two,who might have some advice on
''finishing'',polishes,varnishes etc....I dont use paint.

Regards to all....Rakau

Rakau, Welcome to the Board/forum/Site! I think you will find all here to be most friendly and willing to share the expertise and experiences. Your interests in finishing will fit right in, as many of the carvers on this Board prefer a non painted finish. some photos of your carvings. We are all interested in what each other carves. Again, welcome.. Tom H
