Default Salutations

Salutations from sunny Arkansas, I have been woodworking for a few years but would like to learn more about wood carving. I have been scroll sawing ntarsia projects, building boats and custom houses in my past. I am a retired police officer and have made custom pistol grips when in Calif. I am glad to be here and wish everyone well John

Isn't Arkansas beautiful? I think it promotes creative ideas in most everyone that comes here. I spent the day on Bull Shoals Lake yesterday and got a few ideas for carvings, of course the Deer, Bear, and other wildlife bring lots of ideas too. Welcome to the message board.

Good to have you here. I look forward to seeing your work. I've had ambitions to build a boat at different times, but never had a good plan of what to do with it after I built it!
