Default Rico now on the net

I guess I should start by saying hello to all the carvers out there, some who I have met and count as friends and fellow crafts persons and the rest of you I would like to meet as well. My forte has been chip carving and I am now deeply involved in caricature carving/wood spirits/walking sticks etc. Almost to the hilt. I remember when you had to go to the craft store and look on a back shelf and dig around quite seriously to find any information or stuff to practice the art of woodcarving. But now there is no excuse to have at it and make some chips. I look forward to participating in this forum and reading and seeing some of the interesting things that are being done. for now Rico.

Welcome Rico. I'm always pleased to greet another walking stick carver.

Hello and welcome, Rico.

Like David, I, too, am a stick maker and get excited to meet carvers who are also interested. Looking forward to seeing your work.
