I'm trying to load some pictures but I don't think I have it quite right. I couldn't even find Bob's technical help post. Anyway, please excuse me.
Okay, it worked. |

| | Re: Hello WCI members Ron, it is indeed a pleasure to meet you, I have just spent an enjoyable half hour looking at your web site. Funny thing, I jumped right to your stick page and by golly, I said to myself "this fella has Asian roots somewhere along the line". What a surprise when I clicked on your profile. I'm sorry to hear about your disability, I hope you can continue to carve as long as possible. You are a great asset to our forum and I welcome you abourd and hope to see more of your beautiful work. I have seen your stick somewhere else on the net, the one with the braided beard, I printed out a copy of that and have it in my file some where, I will probably never get to do it but I really like that one. Bestr regards my friend.

| | Re: Hello WCI members Hello guys,
Thank you for your comments.
Cliff, I was hoping to hear from you. I was reading through the "new member" threads last night and saw a number of your posts. Very humorous and supportive. I'm glad you like my "Mongol". I was looking for something that would be my own design, if there is such a thing and was thinking about Yul Bryner in one of his old movies. Anyway he mwas my inspiration. I later found a picture of him in the movie and my carving looks nothing like it but it got me started. |

| | Re: Hello WCI members Ron, I am glad you're here, and posting photos of some really nice carvings. I like the scale of your carvings, especially the turtle and the frog. All of your carvings have a "softness" to them. This is particularly pleasing to the eye (at least my eye). Thanks for sharing..
