Default picture was a no show

I guess the picture I tried to post last time was too large so I have reduced it in size and will try again.
Thanks to all who left welcoming notes to me.

Very nice proportion and form. I've try to do real life but everything that I do comes out looking like a carricture so I just stick to carricatures! I really appreciate those carvers who have the gift to carve real life!

Hi Linda, what a nice introduction, glad you tried again to upload your carving image. How long have you been carving and are you specializing in horses? I have a horse rough-out all ready cut-out, but haven't got any further.
You probably noticed in the 'Attachments' that the image size is pixel is 780 wide by 580 high. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Hi Hollis,
This horse is about 10" high and 10" long. Its the general size for most of my carvings. I fit them to the width of the board I have. I have a old saddle and some day I hope to carve a horse big enough to wear it.
