Default Peter Gander - New from Kent, England!
Hi all,

Great, informative website. I have just kicked off a new flat-plane style/folk/Scandinavian style carving blog http://woodandwit.blogspot.com/ and already owe a few learnings to you guys, so thanks and I will be back often to display and glean more info and inspiration from this excellent site. I may add that apart from a few nice sketches, I haven't even held a carving knife yet, but all is in place to start at the weekend. (I've placed a similar greeting in the 'Flat plane' section too).

I enjoyed looking at your sketches on your blogspot. They would certainly be a very interesting twist on flat plane style, simple to produce yet bold in statement. I am intrigued. Look forward to seeing you produce them!

Welcome so your from Hern Bay funny but we used to vacation in Hern Bay when I was a child. I was born in Bromley Kent and Lived my childhood years in Hayes. My father was in the Canadian Army during the war stationed in England, and took his release from the army and stayed after the war was over. Finally came back to Canada when I was 16. Welcome aboard really enjoyed your Blog and sketches
