Hi, there --

I'm a new member, but have been carving around 25 years. I love seeing the work of other carvers and sharing ideas, and this forum seems a good way to find more inspiration. I carve mostly decoys, both miniature and lifesize, but also other bird sculptures, have done a few Santa Clauses and am interested in other figures, and just getting interested in carving mammals. I live in Portland, Oregon, have lived in Alaska and Washington, and find Nature a wonderful source of ideas and inspiration in the Pacific Northwest.
