Well, well, .....I had always wondered who carved that eagle! And it's a lad from River Hebert, no doubt educated in The Joggins and kicked out of dances from Springhill, Parrsboro to Amherst and Pugwash!

Welcome aboard Bluenose'r, good to see another handy carver from our neck of the woods here. (My wife's a Rows'er from Springhill) Great work son, folks, it looks even better in person!

Bob

Very nice work! I really like the Native Girl Tree Spirit. Also, I have a tough time carving the ladies face, but you seem to have it down. Noticed only one was painted (stained?). Was that by special request?

OK, I don't mean to pile on, but...

WOW!

welcome a-board! (or should that be a-log?)

I'm guessing you use mostly a chainsaw, but use "conventional" carving tools too, right?

Very nice work!

Hi and thanks for the nice comments, yes most of the carving is done with chainsaws, than stepping down to chainsaw like fixture on a grinder for shaping. Than on to finer grinding attachments until I feel happy with it.
