Hello all I guess I can jump in with the intro. Name is Harold, been carving for almost 20 years. Make my living as a paramedic, but only for a few more years and then hopefully retirement. First project carved was a four poster bed that I relief carved a bouquet of flowers inside a heart on the head and foot board. Next project was a hillbilly by Harold Enlow, been hooked ever since. Most of my carving now centers around realistic animals with power, caricatures and realistic human with hand tools. I think this message board is great, what a great amount of talent there is here.

Wow, Harold, what a great FIRST carving project. Bet you didn't sit in the old recliner and do that project!! Glad you stayed with carving . Don't you love doing animals? What fun--and so much you can do with them to make them life-like.

Glad you're here.
