Default old woodcarver, new member...................

Howdy All,
Thought I would join this site & see whats up. I was a member of the Western Woodcarvers Assoc. out of Portland, OR, years ago but it was too much, traveling into the city for a meeting. Living out in the boonies does have its drawbacks, though I'd rather be in the sticks than the big city. I carve murals, signs & whatever else suits me. Now I gotta figure how to post pix. This is like pulling teeth!!!

Welcome Al.... Beautiful area of the country! I can really understand why you'd rather not be in the city. I made a trip across the bar and up the Columbia to the Willamette to the Portland Rose Festival in June of 64'. The beauty of that area made a lasting impression on me!
