JimJim, that is a beautiful finish on the plate. Too bad about the spelling. I think there is a carving here on the board about mispelled chipcarving .

I must learn more about the rosemaling techniques. The color you complimented the carving with is so rich..

Welcome Jim, your work is very impressive for just a "beginner". I love you painting - it reminds me of the folk motives from my country - former Czechoslovakia, today the Czech Republic.

Learnin a new word each day I am..One day I wanna grow up and be old just like you.... Thanks for the Rosmaling picture submitting. I never heard of that art before... Now when I see it I can put a name to the art...Keep chipping your doing good... Looking forward to seeing more.
