| | Old man, New hobby/job? Got out of the moving business and got started on whittling. My hands don't work as well as they did a few years ago so I've adopted a few power tools. I will post photos of some of my carvings and I DEFINITELY ENCOURAGE CRITIQUES and POINTERS. So don't think you can hurt my feelings. I live in Murfreesboro, Tn. and welcome any and all correspondance. In other words...HELP!!! |

| | Re: Old man, New hobby/job? Hey Old Man ! You're not alone. When I stand up it takes at least 10 steps for me to get upright and going. As far as the hands go I used to tie really small flies for fishing (20 and 24's). Now I've noticed that the fish are gonna have to learn to like larger flies.
Welcome to the forum. Anxious to see your carvings. |

yep if we knew we would lived this long i know we all would have taken better care of ourselves,
Youngans are made of iron and vinigar, no time to worry bout strains and sore bones,
any man over 40 recognizes they got a back one day by how much it pains them to get up..., at 50 it pings and pains most the time as 60 creeps up on us, i been told if it dont hurt it dont work!.... and at 70 your glad to just be here each morning......
give a holler if ya need an openion or specific help, thats what lot of us do best,
not necessairly right but best.... !
welcome
