Question old guy-new carver

hi-fellow carvers,my name is marvin solomon,i am a custom knifemaker with a new interest in carving.been making hunting knives about 18 years since retirement.but have had a long time interest in carving and admiration for you carvers who do such beautiful work.so far i have done some relief carving deep and shallow and some wild animal carving ,i really would like to learn about antler carving and gun stock relief carving,been reading a lot of books ha ha .when i am not making knives i paint mostly wild life in acrylic. i hope this forum will be some help all of my limited training has been in branson mo. and war eagle ark. hope to stay in touch and learn from you. regards marvin

Welcome Marvin,
This forum may lead you in some interesting directions. With your interest in knives, you might enjoy whittling or chip carving. Browse thru the Carvers Galleries in those topical areas and you may see something you'd like to try. It may even lead to your designing specialized knives for the purpose.
