Hi All,

Hi Smergles!

Welcome to our little corner of the web. I must agree that this board is a wonderful resource. There is an incredible amount of experience and information contained in the posts you will find in the different areas. everything from how to get your carving tools"wicked sharp" to how to finish a piece to be found there...it's nearly a lifetime of reading at one web site! LOL!

Welcom to the club!

With that said I can say that "This" is my carving club. There just aren't any carving clubs within ($2.60/gallon gas) driving distance in my rural area of the woods, but my carving pals on this board are always here for me when I want to show up and be counted.

So if you don't find a carving club nearby then don't be a stranger and join the club here when you can.

Hi Smergles, where ya at? I'm no expect carver but might be able to lend a hand. I live in St Robert, outside the front gate to Fort Leonard Wood. Message me if you're interested and I'll send you my phone number. Right now I'm available for the next two weeks recovering from back surgery, so I've been spending some time out in the shop doing a little carving.
