Default Newbie from Indiana

Just wanted to say hello and I look forward to the magazine and reading all the posts on the board. I am brand new to carving and just getting started. I know nothing and want to learn. Thanks for the opportunity to interact with all of you. I don't know where my real area lies yet so I'll just sit back and read. thanks

I agree. Sit down grab a knife and start carving, you will soon find where your interests lie. Welcome.

Welcome to the forum. Try different things and don't feel you have to be limited to only one. See what you enjoy.

I am from Peru, Indiana. Right on Hiway 31/24 half way between S. Bend and Indy. So I guess that would be N. Central Indiana. I know there is a really good carving club in Converse. I will have to check it out. I know they have a show but I don't remember when it is. Looking forward to an enjoyable hobby for retirement.
