Default Newbie

Hey all, my name's Derek. I've wanted to get into carving and whittling for a while, but never been able to. Well, recently I've gotten a few basic tools and some sharp pocket knives and have been looking around the net for a few places to learn. Boy am I glad I stumbled into here. Looks like I'm gonna be busy for a few days browsing the archives and looking around. Hopefully I'll learn a little bit.

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.
