Welcome Pippin,
You'll find quite a few opinions in past postings on this subject. Personally, I've had a Colwood Cub for 15 years or so and love it. Economical, great variety of pens, dependable, great way to start that still does the trick as you advance and use it more. They've got a great website. I've used some other wood burners, but it's the one I personally like best...I don't have any vested interest--don't sell them...just use 'im.
