| | New from New England Just want to take a minute and introduce myself. I have been carving on and off for 3 or 4 years. I have done simple projects in the past like spoons and small plaques. I am intersted in trying some figure carving and applying what i learn to projects with our local scout troop.

| | Re: New from New England Welcome, It is great to have another Scout Leader aboard this forum. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to assist a great southern gentleman teach wood carving at our summer camp. Mr. Ed, a master carver, is in his eighties and has been attending our local camp since 1940 –*A real hero. Teaching boys to carve is a worthy goal - I wish you great succsess. |
