Welcome Lee
I'm sure you'll enjoy this group.
I just joined up about 2 months ago, & been having fun showing off my carvings. I hope to see some of your stuff on exhibit here also.
Regards, Dick

A Big Missouri-welcome, Lee,
It's great to have another new(er) carver join us. There's a super bunch of carving folks here, just willing and ready to share what they know.

Did you go to the Rendezvous at Branson or to the Silver Dollar City workshops? Both are great ways to get exposed to several carving instructors--types of carvings and styles of carving.

Come back soon--and often.

Welcome aboard Leland. In the short time I have been on this forum, I have learned more than I could have imagined, the info sharing is great and the people are the friendliest around. What you may think is crude, may very well influence someone else in more ways than you can imagine. Hope to see some of your work soon.

Get some crazy glue for those nicks on the fingers and, if you are truly into pain, some fine flytying thread and a beading needle to do your own stitches.......LOL
