| | Re: New Member Lee,
I'm sure your carvings are wonderful. You're also working in the right direction by joining a local club. i spent a day in the photo studio with David Sabol Thursday and learned more about power carivng than I ever had before.
i try very hard to show you everything in the magazine, but some things you just need to see in person--to see the sublties that the printed word and photos just can't show. Hooking up with a local club is a great way to learn these things!
This boar is also an EXCELLENT resource--I've learned so much from this board!

| | Re: New Member Hi Lee and welcome to WCI stick around you'll learn a lot and hopefully even teach us something. I'm a new woodburner and carver--my feeling is I don't think you can ever learn it all.
I hope you will share your work with us when you feel comfortable. The Beginner forum is a terrific place to share your work. You'll get lot's of gentle encouragement and instructive help.
