I just now got around to reading this thread and wanted to welcome you as well. For those of you that have not had the pleasure, Mary Anne is an outstanding carver. We have seen her work at Davenport and she is very talented. Again welcome Mary Anne.

Wannabee, some of my older carvings are available for viewing on the "Carvers gallery.ca" website but I haven't got photos of any recent work. Need to do it..... sigh.

What a pleasant surprise to see your name on this forum. You are a terrific carver and a wonderful person. I can't wait to see you in June and July at the Congress and John Burke's workshop and see exactly what you've been up to. Of all the workshops that I do, John's is the most fun. I was really glad that he granted me a sabatical for last year but it was hard not seeing alot of my good friends last summer.

May your tools stay sharp and your bark cooperative.

Hello Kathy, thanks for the welcome. Hopefully you too may come to Davenport or the Crete Nebraska workshop - that's where we all get together and have a great time - yes carving is important, but the sharing and get togethers in the evenings are very entertaining.
