Hi Tom. Welcome to the board from another Buckeye state carver. You picked a good state for carving. We have a lot of good annual carving shows, carving clubs/groups, and a lot of carving classes. There's a good show in Bellevue, OH, to your north, on Feb. 4th & 5th, and the annual decoy carver show is in Westlake, near Cleveland, March 17-19. You can see a good variety of work and carving styles and meet a lot of friendly carvers. Good luck. Mike

Welcome, Tom; we're glad you joined our little family of carvers. I think it is so cool that you've been working with wood and now want to take it to the next level. Just a little carving can add a lot to a cutout--a little more carving really makes a difference. There so many great carvers in your neck of the woods and some good shows and suppliers, too.
