New member from Ohio

Hi folks, I hope that I am doing this correctly. I just joined and my name is Tom Hindes. I am from Ohio, and have been whittling and carving for less than one year. I have been retired for 17 years. I have been making cabinets and Noahs Arks for about 10 years. I used to finish the Noahs ark animals by just knocking the edges off - now I am trying to add more detail by carving with a knife, palm chisel, and power carving. I have lots to learn and am looking forward to participating in this board.

Carving -and please do post photos I enjoy seeing what every one is working on.

Tom, welcome aboard! There is an abundance of talent on this site and good solid advice. When you get a chance, post some pics so we can get an idea of what your into and never be afraid to ask this bunch questions.

There's an easy way to figure it out. Marry a smart woman! There are lots of other percs too if you treat them nice! It's the easy way, not the cheap way!
