Default New Member -- Never Carved -- Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome & all the encouragement!

We have recently moved to the Sierras at about 4400' -- and have just finished a complete remodel/upgrade of our 80 year old house -- which took 15 months with us both working an hour away full time -- all up to modern comforts -- which we did mostly ourselves.

Now that the remodel is done -- I have started building out my workshop which is not attached to the house. It is about 1600 sf including the upstairs portion. Should be able to set up a nice wood carving area in a corner.

I also will subscribe to the magazine and utilize other venues recommended by the contributors.

-- Best, Fred
