Hello everyone, my name is Dennis. I am not new to carving, but i'm new here. I have posted some poorly taken pictures of a few of my carvings in the members galleries.

Welcome Dennis,

While you're not happy with your photos, you should be proud of those carvings! Great work!

A big howdy welcome from Missouri, Dennis. We're glad you joined our band of merry wood carvers. It's a great bunch of people. Come back often!

Hey, Dennis! Glad you stopped in.......now make sure ya get down to the club tonight! I haven't been there for the last two meetings but should get there tonight.

Took me a while to find your album, but NICE work on the birds! I especially like the burl bluebill......sure is a pretty piece, both in the work and the wood.

Al

Welcome Dennis, for you and anybody else: My neighbor from Michigan says that there are more wood carvers in Michigan than any other State. Is that correct? TOM H

Tom, I think you misunderstood your friend. I'm sure he said there are more wood CUTTERS than any other state. Loggers, firewood gatherers, etc. But, ya, there are quite a few carvers, too.
