New Member looking for information Hello to all. I am not a wood carver but my father collected carvings for years. He owned an archery shop here in MI from 1940 until 1999, then I took over. Our 19 piece collection was crafted by the famous "Smokey" Joe Jackson who was a member of The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe here in Mt. Pleasant, MI. His pieces include mammals, fish and snakes. All are life size and remarkably detailed. Items include trout, pike, pheasant, grouse, woodcock, ducks, etc. Does anyone have an interest in "Smokey" Joe Jackson's works? I may be willing to part with this great collection. |
