You mite consider looking thru kiddie coloring books for patterns..they are not too detailed..and are easy cut out.. for the particular one you want..

Looking for Chicken Carvings.. According to Julia Childs, you place the roasted chicken in front of you and begin taking the legs off, then the wings... should I continue???

I needed that. BUT,I 'm looking for a chicken about 5 foot high carved from WOOD. Any kind of wood . to whittle for a friend.

Now that would be a chicken 5 foot high!!!!

I did a chicken a while back and still have the photos I used for a reference.
I would be happy to send you the material that I have.

This one is only about 6 or 7 inches tall, but you might be able to scale it up.

Mark yundt-- I'm in South Central PA. ( Lancaster Area)..

Mitchell -- Thanks for the info.. I think I'll go with the caricature chicken pattern.

Johnny-Five--- Great info thank you I'll post a photo as I get carving on my giant chicken.

Claude-- Right on This is the one. Good stuff. I like this one.
