| | new member from Iowa Hello, thought I'd try this. I am computer challenged, so please bear with me. Been carving for about 2 years and I love it. I try to carve every day, but sometimes I'm not sure how somthing is done. I am looking forward to all the new friends and helpful info I will be able to get from the site. Love looking at what others are doing, the talent and creativity is amazing. Looking forward to being part of the forum. |

| | Re: new member from Iowa I like to do Santa and Uncle Sam. I did attempt to carve a figure of my
Dad who passed away last Nov. I did several small carvings of him. I
painted for 16 years and this is something new for me. Trying to do some original things. |

| | Re: new member from Iowa Wow! I have really enjoyed visiting the links that came with your messages.
You are really some awesome carvers. Loved all the Noahs arks and would love to do one some day. It's fun to see what you are all carving. Heading to a chain saw carving demonstration on Saturday in Davenport. I started a tree, but have not finished it. Don't think I would do too many of those. Chain saw gets heavy! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
