Default New member intro

Hi all. Thanks for having me! I'm just returning to woodworking after a couple of years' break and looking for places to talk woodcarving.

I build all sorts of things, made a little bit of a name for myself with turning, then jumped ship into carving, then took a break. Made a few boats, too. Mostly I'm a long distance triathlete and have done over 100 triathlons including several Ironmans, who also woodworks in between workouts. I work out of a basement shop but the big tools are in the garage. If I can figure out how, I'll post some of my recent work below. I use a variety of tools but much of my carving is done with a Foredom. Thanks for looking, and comments welcomed. Mike
