Hi Hollis and welcome. I just love your burnings. Great detail and your eagle (which is one of my favorite subjects) is awesome. It just blows me away when I see such detail with a single temperature burner.

What medium are you using for your color accents?

I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Nedra

Nedra, I have admired your work since I layed up with a deer killing leg
on a motorcycle for two years. Never owned a computer untill a year
ago. I have definately been missing out.
I started burning with a magnifing glass when I was a kid, laying out in the cow pasture with a pine board. Got some pretty good work done thinking back and sure wish I had kept it. Semper Fi there little lady.

Ok Hollis, guess we're going to have a mutual admiration society here because as I already said your work is wonderfu. True testament to those who think you can't get fine detail with a single temp burner.

Sorry to hear about your leg but hope that you are up and about now.

BTW, where is Atmore? Al's kids and our grandson are in Huntsville. We were there in May visiting while our house was being done.

Glad you are now online and able to join in the fun.

Nedra

Hi Hollis, just came from your Gallery images on WCI, your doing some fine woodburning. I agree with Nedra on all accounts, I think if you can afford to move up to a burner with variable temp settings--I can only imagin the work you will create. Keep up the good work.
Here is one of my burnings http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.co...00/ppuser/3480
Looking forward to seeing more woodburnings from you.
