New Member - Hello!!

Just joined and am looking forward to meeting many of you carvers out there.
I have been carving for about 6 months. I am very lucky to have a dad that has been carving for about 25 years. He is 80 years old and is still a very good carver. He has helped me in many areas of carving. He has taken many ribbons at the local wood carving show in Waterloo, Iowa. I have done a lot of wood working over the years and am not new to wood. I have included a Chickadee I have carved, with dad looking over my shoulder.
