I came across this forum today . I don`t carve yet , but have wood .

Hello and welcome, cwood. Nice to have you here. Just pick up a knife and start those chips a flying and on your next post, you can say you're a carver. Well, at least a whittler.

Hello and welcome. Hey that is a good start now all you need is a knife, carving glove and thumb guard. Oh yeah and an idea of what you would like to learn to carve. Sometimes just practing cutting with you knife is a good place to learn--and I don't mean your fingers. LOL

Well, if you've got wood then you've got one of two choices.... buy a knife or invest in a beaver!

Thanks for the welcome , I am thinking about frogs and such . To put around goldfish ponds , rock gardens .
