| | Re: new member has wood Hello and welcome. Hey that is a good start now all you need is a knife, carving glove and thumb guard. Oh yeah and an idea of what you would like to learn to carve. Sometimes just practing cutting with you knife is a good place to learn--and I don't mean your fingers. LOL
