thank you for your welcome ah so you been to the kingdom of kerry then lovely county im next door to it in the rebel county of cork havent been to cavan myself though yet nor usa but have been to lots of places throughout europe i agree i find this site great for woodcarvers just came across it yesterday and find it very interesting im actually trying to sell my work pieces but am always happy picking up new ideas and tips i see you also like the celtic carving if i can help you in any way let me know and tell me where you been to in ireland happy carving

My father's mother came from just north of Dublin, Ireland...her name was Mary Downing...The other grandmother was from Sweden. Pops was from Germany...
I've got a wee bit of everything in me blood, but sometimes the Irish comes to the surface. I think it was the Irish lulaby's my father sang to me as a child.
