Default new member and new carver

Hi all, the name's Andy and I just joined and thought I'd say hi to everyone. I just took up carving about two weeks ago and love it. I am hooked for life. I just moved to Tennessee with my wife and 1-year old. We love it here and there are lots stores and shops related to carving. It's perfect. I'm working on a pine cone right now. It looks good so far, wish me luck. Thanks.

Andy, Glad you're here! There are some very fine people and fine carvers here. And I think all are most happy to give encouragement and help. I am also glad you found woodcarving at a young age. That means you have more time to enjoy....Tom H

Welcome. Having the carving related stores close isn't always a good thing....because I'm not sure whether carving is about wood or collecting tools But whatever it's about... it is addictive! Have fun.
