 New Member I just signed up and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jeff Wardwell from California. I am a full time carver having carved for around 28yrs. I specialize in birds of prey and since I am a falconer they go together pretty well. I currently have a female Peregrine falcon which I hunt with. I used to compete at the highest level at the Ward Show in Ocean City,MD My mentor and close friend is Floyd Scholz. However in recent years I haven't had the time. My last peice was a lifesize Golden Eagle commission which took fourth in the world catagory. It sure is nice to have something like this to talk to other carvers and I hope I get to know most of you. I live in Wildomar,CA with my wife and two daughters.  |
