Send him a Message - or wait for him to happen upon this post (not guaranteed that he will check this forum).

To send a message, click on his name and you will get the option to "send Private Message" - follow that link and it's pretty easy to follow along. You can find his name in the some posts in the "Flat Plane Carving" forum.here --> http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/f70/

Mitchell is correct! Or if you have a Youtube account, you can send him a message as he post's videos almost daily! It's worth a try... I know that he does consult some of the books sold/represented here, by Fox Chapel Publishers!

Hi,
Thanks, I will try contacting him directly. Another question, if I do a goggle and find a picture of let's say a dog, can I use that for a pattern and secondly that would give me a side view which tells me width and hight of the board to use but how do I know thickness of the board to use?

rwnokes: welcome.
The best trick is to go to Google Images. Then type in the name of any critter you can think of.
I get bored after the first 1,000 pictures.
