Hi to all,
I'm an english man living in France just retired, moved out to the country and would like to try my hand at wood carving. I can draw, paint, and am pretty good at handy crafts but never tried woodcarving. Dying to get started, hope you experienced people can help me.
Geoff

This is my home made workbench and first go at carving a "bas relief".
I don't have much in the way of tools for the moment, so I've just roughed it out. I've ordered a set of 12 tools so in a few days I'll get into the detail.
Gives me time to have a look at the youtube videos.
Thanks for the welcome and advice.
Geoff
