Hello All.
I am a woodworker and the only carving I have done was in the restoration
of some very old furniture. I do however, have a passion for flat-carved
Scandinavian figures which I have been collecting over the years. I do
not know a whole lot about these and would like know more about the
pieces that I do own. They give me great pleasure and remind me of my
wonderful Swedish relatives, now long gone. Where is a good place to
start my education?

Welcome and glad to have you with us. Big Dave already gave you some good information about the forum. The other good advise would be to make Gene Messer a friend and check out his carvings and you tube videos. He and many others here will be willing to help you in any way that they can.
