Hi everyone
I just joined a few days ago & this is my first post. I live on Quadra Island , B.C. and have been carving for about 10 years.I have mostly power carved but now want to get into more traditional carving so I just ordered some Denny tools from Rick. This is a GREAT site & inspired me to order the Denny tools from Rick. I will try to post a couple of pics. Thanks to everyone for the tips & info. I have already picked up here.

Hi Keith, hey I get to be the first to welcome you to WCI message boards. Really nice work and Congratulations on your awards, well deserved. Rick, is a terrific guy and wonderful to do business with you made a good choice.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work. As you probably have noticed we love to see Works In Progress too.

Welcome Keith,
We like your woodcarvings and hope you get some great ideas from this site. Your location should also provide some inspiration. My late wife and I spent a week kayaking among the Discovery Islands a few years ago and loved it!
When you see a photo of interest on this site, click on it for a larger image. Then click on the user gallery to see other work by the same carver. You could then email the member for more information.

Greetings from Ontario, you'll find quite a few Canucks on here, I'm certaainly the nicest one but for sure there are others. By the looks of your carvings, I assume ya do a little fishin out there, (lucky you). I was in Victoria in 1948 in the navy, I loved that country of yours. By the way, the carvings shown are excellent, we love to see lots of pictures, thanks for showing.

Welcome aboard, you do excellent work on you fish.... I have been wanting to try fish but have not gotten up the courage. Be sure to jump right in and have fun posting.
