Hey all, I've been a lurker on this forum for a long while so it is about time I finally joined! I am a founding member of Toledo ,Ohio Blackswamp Woodcarvers Club and past vice president. I have been carving since about 1977 .My favorite types of carving are Native Americans and mountain men, animals and reproductions of 18th and 19th century Eastern Woodland Indian wood carved items. Thanks Don

Always glad to hear from another carver who carves NA and Bushman. I do a lot of woodspirits due to request but I really enjoy trying to capture the characteristics of early Native American Indians and the wild and wooly mountain man. Be sure to post some of your work as we all appreciate new reference material.
